"Snow and Moon, Red Rock Canyon"

On a rare snowy day in western Las Vegas, I headed to the nearby Red Rock National Conservation Area to take some photos of the snow-covered mountains and foothills. I noticed where the path of the setting moon was heading, so I looked for a location and composition to capture the moon before it disappeared into the clouds that were rolling over the peaks. The result is one of my personal favorite photos of Red Rock.
